One selling point for me was that this is the only smoke-free property on the Strip. Maybe the only one in all of Las Vegas.
They used to advertise this more openly, now they barely mention it. It's astonishing to me that in a world where 80% of people don't smoke that Casinos refuse to address the smoke problem.
Apparently there are more important things to advertise.
The parking garage here is behind the property and fairly easy to get into and out of. It is a ways back; so if you're going to park here just to get to some place on Las Vegas Blvd (like the Hard Rock or Whataburger; it's a fairly long walk.
You can check on with your phone but I never do. Maybe some day, but for now I like to be able to speak to a human.
Self Park takes you right into the lbbby, so you can just go to the desk. No need for the Mobile check in.
There's always a bit of a line, but not too bad.
Check in was farily uneventful.
The Room
The inputs for charging devices are under the TV, so unless you have 20ft cables you'll have to either put your stuff on the little shelf underneath or move the table. I created a little man-cave so I could work and watch the TV.
The Property
There's a bar where you can get a good selection of wine or a drink at the entrance to Eataly, but there's never anyone manning the station; at least not later in the evening. It's so ridiculous that at 10pm you can't get a decent glass of wine in Las Vegas. 24/7 my butt.
Within Eataly there's an alternative for morning coffee to Starbucks; La Pasticceria opens at 7am.
In addition to coffee they have pastries and breakfast sandwiches; the sandwiches are served as-is; there's no reheating at La Pasticceria.
They have Lavella coffee and cold brew, which is my preference.
Every resort/hotel in Las Vegas simply MUST have.an asian noodle restaurant; the Park MGM has La La Noodle.
However LaLa is only open on Weekends; if you're staying here Mon to Wed you'll have to eat somewhere else.
