Critic's Review
I was staying at the Red Rock and still on Eastern time, so I was up early. Lucky Penny is the resident breakfast restaurant; usually hotel breakfasts are absurdly expensive and only sometimes good, but when I'm on vacation I usually eat breakfast. There was no wait at 7:15. I got a nice mini booth and a server too my coffee order right away.
A bigger than the usual diner cup and a mini pitcher of coffee so you don't have to wait for seconds.
Pretty good coffee.
I ordered the American Breakfast, 3 eggs, sausage and rye toast; which is my usual. The food came out pretty quickly.
The food was competently made. Nothing crazy good or bad about it. Just a solid breakfast to start the day.
They leave the bill on the table and you pay as you leave, so no waiting for your waitress to notice you're ready to leave. Not too expensive either; $1 more than I paid at the Cracked Egg the day before.
