Critic's Review
I was staying at the Red Rock and didn't feel like an expensive steak or a bowl of noodles, so I just hit the food court for a snack. I'd had a huge late breakfast at The Cracked Egg, so I'd skipped lunch. Too hungry for just a slice. I decided an a "small" Philly cheesesteak. There was 1 dude in front of me; downing a bag of chips before his large cheesesteak. It took 8 minutes for the sandwich to come out.
$9 for this, which isn't bad for an in-casino venue, where $9 slices are not unusual. The menu says "sweet bell peppers"; I guess green peppers are sweet but I expected red peppers.
The roll was nice and soft and the meat was tender and gristle free. Not a life-changing sandwich, but not bad at all.
