Critic's Review
I can in at 11am; in between hours you can squeeze in between the crowded times. I was seated right away, but that's when all hell broke loose. It was 5 minutes before a waitress came by to take my order. Then another 7 minutes for her to bring me this tiny cup of coffee.
No pot. You used to get a pot so you don't have to flag them down for a refill. 12 minutes is a long time to sit in a diner without coffee.
I was surprised by the prices. IHOP used to be cheap. This place charges as much as the Station breakfast places without the good coffee or nice ambiance.
They squeeze everyone into 1 room. There's another dining room that's empty. Social distancing is clearly over.
A manager dude brought out my eggs and toast 3 minutes later.
Toast came out unbuttered with Jam packets. No butter. I had to ask for butter. Seriously?
Obviously these hash browns aren't what IHOP has been serving for 30 years. An oven baked "cake" is more McDonalds than good diner.
The inevitably empty cup with no waitress in sight happened midway through the meal I had to wait until she passed by to ask for more.
She went to fetch a pitcher and left it on the table. This is backwards. The point of the pitcher is so that you don't have to wait for a refill and the servers don't have to be bothered refilling cups. Whoever sets policy in this place has broken it.
Plates and empty creamers remained on the table throughout the experience.
