The online reviews are so bad it's hard to believe they're still open. Hidden resort fees, parking charges. "It's not cheaper than a strip hotel". They apparently require a deposit and then charge the fees off your deposit. It's hard to follow the rants. I went in here once (I did park for free at Steak and Shake) never to return again.
The trick is that they don't charge (or disclose) the resort fee in the booking price, then when you get there they charge the fee and require a deposit. Paying a $50 resort fee at the Venetian is one thing; paying that much here is absurd.
The Hooters is closed (this was formerly the Hooters Hotel and Casino), but the signs remain. The Steak and Shake in here is by name only; don't come here for your free Birthday shake; they don't honor that stuff at this location.
You're probably better off at a Motel 6. Imagine you took the girls out of Hooters. You're not left with much.
