Sam's is what I call a Costco wannabe. It's just inferior in every way. As you walk in you see the TVs, just like Costco. Except they don't have as good a selection or as good pricing.
One thing I do like about Sam's is that they have Aisle markers. I can never find anything at Costco because the Aisles have no signed. Here it's easier to find stuff, even though they don't have anything I want.
The bakery here is smaller and useless.
One thing I have purchased at Cosco is meat. The meat selection here is inferior to Costco.
They have good deals on "NY Strips", ,but the marbling is unacceptable. This is low-grade choice if not select. This isn't worth $10/lb.
Nothing I want in the product section either. You're not buying Rapini or Tomatoes here.
Walking around not finding anything I want to buy. Where the hell is the alcohol?
They have a nook in the corner where the alcohol is. Unlike the aisles, there's not sign here. You just have to know about it.
I buy wine at Costco, but they have no good wine here. All low-end generic stuff like you can get at Walmart. This of course is Walmart, essentially.
The food court is a bad copy of Costco; I haven't had the food at either so I can't comment on who has better food.
My membership is almost up, and nI think I've bought 2 items at this location. Salt for my water softener and 1 other thing I can't remember. I certainly didn't get my money's worth.
Even Sam's Club gas is inferior; Costco is a TierOne gas product (recommended for cars that require premium); I filled up once at Sam's and my engine light came on with a "Too Lean" error code; So I can't even save here on gas.
