I made an appointment and showed up on time. I'd been having a little problem with a light coming on and I asked the head guy what they could do to check it out. He said it would be $175 for diagnostics and, unlike at BMW, the fee is no applicable to work done. So you're out $175 just for them to tell you what needs to be repaired; if anything. He didn't seem optimistic since it was an intermittent problem that I couldn't duplicate, so I passed on the diagnostic.
While waiting for the oil change I took a walk to the Mexican super market next door; I though about getting some lunch but there wasn't anyplace that appealed to me.
When I got back it still wasn't done. The waiting room here is small but nice and there were only a couple of other customers.
It was done about 10 minutes later and they just brought out the key. They didn't tell me a single thing about the car; BMW give you a laundry list of things that need to be done, but nothing here.
Their website says that they top off fluids and do a visual inspection, so I guess they did it. They're just not very chatty about it.
