Critic's Review
I didn't know what Farmer Boys was all about; I see it every time I go to the Walmart or the Lowes here. They seem to have a lot of questionable marketing gimmicks; . But they're advertising their "All Natural" burger for $6.99; As a long time food reviewer I know that "Natural Burgers" are a bunch of malarky, but I thought I'd give it a taste.I was going to do the drive thru, but decided I wanted to see the inside. The drive thru is narrow so there's no turning back once you commit.
When I saw the menus inside I was shocked by the prices. 9.69 for a single "natural" cheeseburger. $11 for a regular cheeseburger. Who is paying these prices for fast food burgers?
I know that "natural" burgers are 100% marketing (there's no such thing), so I decided just to get their "always crunchy fries", which are an absurd $5.85. One good thing was that they were ready right away, so I didn't have to wait at all.
I took a look into the bag in the card; they didn't look too "crispy" to me. Noshing on a few on the way home, I'd say half of them were crispy/
These were about as good as the frozen fries I buy at Walmart and cook in my air fryer. (popcorn salt is essential)....
