Critic's Review
I was in the area so my plan was to walk over and get some photos; I'd just eaten at their new location so I wasn't planning on waiting on line for some tacos. But at 3:30pm it wasn't very crowded. No line for El Pastor; it seems that Asada and Tongue are the hot items on the strip.
The dude seemed in a hurry to make my taco, despite there being no line. He just kind of slapped it onto a plate.
Quit a mess; he didn't even get the stuff on the tacos. The other location they seemed to take more care; maybe they're a bit jaded here?
Even the meat wasn't sliced right; but there was a good amount. I fixed the taco and tasted the meat, which had no flavor at all. Completely bland. Why go to the trouble of making the big flame broiled spit of meat with no spices so it tasted like it was any other slice of pork?
I was actually surprised at how nothing this taco was. Bland sauces. Why are people going to these places to eat these nothing tacos?
